North & South Node sign switch

This week: July 10th-16th the transitting (planetary movements-not natal( personal chart placements) north & south will switch signs! Technically they’re not switching until next Monday, but the change has importance for us earlier this week.
On Tuesday, July 11th, the north node will be aspected by both Mars and Mercury. This is the last major activation before the north node moves into Aries. Tuesday’s astrology will bring a focus to the story of the north node/south node personally and also globally. On a personal level, since January of 2022, the north node in Taurus has been influencing you to make changes in your life in the areas signified by your Taurus house in your chart, likewise in your Scorpio house. I’ve noticed through readings that the north node tends to act as a summoner of true desire. The south node seems to ask us to leave behind patterns and choices that we think we should have but don’t actually resonate with us.
To find out how to best utilize this energy from Mercury and Mars on Tuesday, look at your natal chart, and see what houses Taurus and Scorpio fall into in your chart. Houses have topics that they signify, and those areas have likely been changing for you. The houses are numbered, with the first started at your rising sign or ascendant. If you know your birth time, you can look at your chart on astro.com. I know so many of you use costar and no hate, but I’m not sure if the houses are shown.
Here’s a rudimentary breakdown of the house meanings/ topics:
1st: the self, the body
2nd: finances, inner life (conscious), personal belongings, resources
3rd: neighborhood, publications, writing, communication, short travel, transportation
4th: home, family of origin, family of choice, the root, grounding
5th: children, creative works, dating ( earlier on), sex
6th: routine, work, illness
7th: relationships ( romantic, significant, partnership in business)
8th: shared resources, occult, magick, ancestral communication (also found in the 12th), inherited patterns of behavior
9th: big travel, journeys, school (trade, or higher ed.), beliefs, religion
10th: career or non-career purpose
11th: groups, chosen community
12th: spirit portal, mental health, imprisonment
On Tuesday, we will be asked to review this journey that the north and south node in Taurus/Scorpio has been. Some questions might be:
Who have I become in this time?
What kind of changes in the houses that Scorpio/ Taurus are in have occurred since January 2022?
Can I allow myself to fully embody the positive changes that have emerged and finally release old patterns that no longer fit my ideals?
On Monday, July 17th, the nodes will switch signs, the north into Aries and the South into Libra. We will be asked to start a whole new cycle of beginnings and endings in these areas. Monday will also bring us a new moon in cancer at 24 degrees. This is a portal of a beginning. Using the new moon to write down your hopes for the nodal switch while the moon is in her home sign seems like the perfect start of an era. The nodes will be in their new signs until January 2025, so we have plenty of time for the work ahead.
